Movie Synopsis: This movie is directed and adapted by John Wells.It reflects the problem of staff losing jobs at the time of financial crisis.Ben Affleck acts a company backbone called Bobby,he is living a rich life:great job,beautiful family and the life everyone dreams.But with the influence of financial crisis,he is fired by his boss.He loses salary of $100, 000 each year and his favorite car,Porsche.And Maria Bello acts a leader of HR ,she is forced to dismiss Ben Affleck.Craig T. Nelson acts a CEO.Ben Affleck and his co-workers Phil Woodward and Gene McClary are all forced to re-define their lifves as men,husbands and fathers.With the pressure of life,he has to come to his brother-in-law’s building site.He has to use his physical strength to be a builder.From a staffer in the office to a builder,he endures both mind and body’s pain.

In the financial crisis,more and more competitive appears in the enterprises.Everyone struggles for themselves in the company and life.Enterprises use various measures to increase their profits and survive in the feirce competition.Bobby has a co-worker,he has a different plan.He wants to keep his own principle of his company.In the economic depression age,his choose and change is a big challenge.They all examine their values that they have before.

What is the real value for us? A good job? A beautiful wife or a handsome husband? Maybe you have other thoughts.Everyone has their own dream,and they all work hard to realises it.I think the most important thing is to find ourselves,who we are and what we really want to do.Some company men only want to increase their profits,and they lose their own principles.But some are not,they have their own plans.This movie also shows us the lives of Americans in financial crisis.I don’t measure a man’s success by how high he climbs but how high he bounces when he hits bottom.What do you think?
