Movie Synopsis: The Arbor is a kind of art/foreign, documentary and biopic. The movie is based on a uniquely true story about an extraordinary woman. We can know an ordinary while touching story.The movie The Arbor tells the story about a portrait of troubled British playwright Andrea Dunbar and her tumultuous relationship with her daughter. Andrea wrote honestly and unflinchingly about her upbringing on the notorious Buttershaw Estate. When she died in her 29 years old. Her daughter was only ten years old. Everything seems to be different, and the family she left behind is different also. When her daughter Lorraine is 29 years old, she is servicing a sentence for manslaughter for the death of her son. The days in prison, Lorraine recalls everything about her mother, her plays and private letters. Then she begins to come to terms with her role in the death of her son. Maybe she can get something from the past of her mother. And so do us.
