Movie Synopsis: Another Year tells a story about a happiness couple and their miseriable friends.In spring the happy couple Tom and Gairy after marriage company their friend Mary.Gairy is a medical consultant while Tom is a geologists.Marry is drunk that night,she complains her happly life is destructed.Tom and Gairy are friends of their son, a community lawyer,Joe.The relationship between the two generate is very matey.With friends around him are all married,Joy is a singer man all along.

In summer,Ken comes to London to visit Tom and Gairy.Ken is the government’s staff,he and Tom’s friend townee.At that night,Ken drinks a lot and he complains life’s tragedy and lonely.The other day,Gairy is in the sunshine while other friends are playing golf.Mary comes late and she worries her second-hand car.After meeting Ken,Mary is willing to love at the first sight.But Mary’s awkward flirting skills makes Ken both funny and annoying.After all,Mary is a woman who is nice but has not enough experience about love.

In autumn,Tom and Gairy finishs their holiday.Joy holds a welcome meeting for them.He hides his girlfriend Kate behiend the door. Kate is a professional therapy master.Tom and Gairy likes Kate when they meet her.Mary is invited to the party,but she envys Kate a little.Her attitude is rude and inurbane.Tom and Gairy kown that Marry’s car makes her unhappy but they can’t understand her attitude to Kate.

In winter,Tom and Gairy drive to Kate’s hometown to attend her brother-Ronnie’s funeral.Ronnie meets her daughter Carl in the funeral,they haven’t seen each other for a long time.After the funeral,Carl is very angry with her dead father and she requires all people leave her home right now.So Tom and Gairy invite Carl to London to live with them for some time.At the same time,Mary comes to London.She can’t contral herself and smoke with Carl.Gairy doesn’t want to invite Kate,but Mary apologies her behavior.At the dinner table,everyone talks their past or their dream and plan.But Marry only has bad memories without expection and vision.Spring,summer,autumn ,winter.Birth and death. Family and friendship.Hope and love.Only time flies!!!
